A service by StauAgent for Hamburg commuters
Data sources
Elbtunnel StauAgent is a private service by StauAgent. The monitor primarily uses the official Autobahn API, filters to the Hamburg Elbtunnel area, and evaluates new warnings, closures, and roadworks before sending alerts.
Official data for warnings, closures, and roadworks on the A7 plus relevant nearby motorways.
New items are deduplicated and ranked for relevance, so routine roadworks do not trigger every alert.
The alerts help with orientation. For critical trips, also check official sources.
Current search questions
Common searches ask about today, weekends, duration, start time, the reason for a closure, and detours. These short answers point to the live status without pretending to be an official status display.
Planned closures appear in the status feed when the Autobahn API provides matching alerts for A7 Hamburg and the Elbtunnel. Unplanned closures caused by accidents, hazards, or congestion can happen at any time.
If an alert includes start or end times, the feed shows them. Without an end time, there is no reliable duration; check the feed and official traffic channels again.
Weekend closures and planned roadworks are monitored when they are relevant to the Hamburg window. The free alert can notify you when a matching item is detected.
Typical reasons include accidents, roadworks, hazards, wrong-way drivers, heavy congestion, full closures, or partial closures. The feed shows the alert title, road, priority, and time.
The feed links affected locations on a map. For specific detours, also use current navigation and official traffic information.
The live feed queries the Autobahn API in your browser. The background monitor also checks every 15 minutes and can send email or SMS alerts.
